Clase Azul México’s Día De Muertos bottle is among the most hotly anticipated releases in the wine and spirits space year after year, and on October 20, the 2024 limited-edition makes its debut.
Called Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Música, the bottle is the fourth in a collection dubbed Nuestros Recuerdos (“Our Memories”), which debuted in 2021. The Mexican luxury house has produced 10,000 decanters of the 2024 edition, and based on years past, they’ll be gone within minutes of going on sale.
Música is a homage to the music traditions associated with Día De Muertos. According to a release about the decanter, it “celebrates the sounds and rhythms that embody the festive spirit of Día de Muertos (“Day of the Dead”), an iconic Mexican celebration honoring departed loved ones, observed during the first two days of November. Musicians across Mexico enliven this time with their drums, trumpets, guitars and accordions, joyfully remembering those who have passed. “
